Orders & delivery
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-4 working days and free over £49. Next-day is £6.95 at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You get a tracked courier link by email the moment it leaves us. You can also see it under your orders.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If it has not shipped, yes - email us with your order number straight away. Once it is with the courier you will need to return it instead.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland and the Islands?
Yes, £9.95, 3-6 working days. Republic of Ireland is £14.95, 4-7 working days.
Returns & refunds
What is your returns window?
14 days from delivery, used or unused, as long as the bed is clean. Full detail on the returns page.
Who pays return postage?
£4.95 for a change of mind, deducted from the refund. Nothing at all if the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered.
How do I exchange for a different size?
Order the new size and return the old one - it is faster and guarantees stock. Mention it when you request the return and we waive the return fee.
Choosing a bed
Which size do I need?
Measure nose to base of tail lying stretched out, add 15-20cm, and compare to the internal sleeping area on the listing. The size guide has breed charts.
Orthopaedic or calming - what is the difference?
Orthopaedic is about the foam: pressure relief for joints. Calming is about the shape: high walls and deep fill so an anxious pet feels enclosed. Plenty of beds do both.
Is any bed genuinely chew-proof?
No, and we will not claim otherwise. Chew-resistant beds use ripstop weave, hidden zips and double-stitched seams, which defeats most dogs most of the time. A determined chewer will still get through eventually.
What is the bed actually made of?
Every listing has a materials breakdown: cover fabric, fill type, foam density and base. Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified, so no banned dyes or finishes against your pet's skin.
Washing & care
Can I machine wash the cover?
On any bed with the Easy Clean badge, yes - zip it off and wash at 30°C. No fabric softener, and air dry rather than tumble.
How do I wash a foam inner?
You do not. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then air dry fully. Soaking foam breaks down the cell structure and it never recovers its support.
How do I get the hair off?
A rubber glove or a pumice stone dragged across dry fabric lifts more than any lint roller. Do it before washing or your machine filter will suffer.
The bed smells. What now?
Bicarbonate of soda, left on the fabric for an hour then vacuumed off, clears most of it. For waterproof liners, wipe with a dilute vinegar solution - never bleach.
Payment & account
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments run over an encrypted connection and we never see or store your card details.
Do you offer Klarna or Clearpay?
No. It is a deliberate choice: we would rather you bought a bed comfortably, or waited for a sale, than took on a repayment plan for a cushion. Buy now, pay later is easy to walk into and much harder to walk out of.
Do I need an account to order?
No, you can check out as a guest. An account just makes tracking, returns and reordering quicker - set one up here.
Is there a trade or multi-pet discount?
Yes for rescues, breeders and groomers. Email us from a business address and we will sort a code.
